Abstract

Ketepeng Cina dan Rimpang Lengkuas merupakan salah satu tanaman herbal yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai antijamur. Daun Ketepeng Cina diketahui mengandung senyawa flavonoid, alkaloid, saponin dan tanin. Rimpang Lengkuas diketahui mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan fenol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui adanya efek antijamur dari kombinasi antara ekstrak daun Ketepeng Cina (Cassia alata, L) dan ekstrak Rimpang Lengkuas (Alpinia galanga, L) dengan variasi ekstrak 0:1, 1:0, 1:1, 1:3, dan 3:1 dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Trichophyton rubrum. Metode penelitian ini ialah eksperimental laboratoris. Ekstrak daun Ketepeng Cina dan Rimpang Lengkuas diperoleh melalui metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 70%. Metode pengujian aktivitas antijamur dengan metode difusi paper disk. Hasil pengujian dianalisis dengan uji Anova (One Way Anova). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua ekstrak mempunyai aktivitas antijamur terhadap Trichophyton rubrum. Ekstrak kombinasi daun Ketepeng Cina dan Rimpang Lengkuas pada variasi ekstrak 3:1 merupakan kombinasi ekstrak yang paling aktif sebagai antijamur dibandingkan dengan variasi ekstrak 0:1, 1:0, 1:1, dan 1:3. Dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat 18,75 mm. Kata kunci : ekstrak daun Ketepeng Cina, ekstrak Rimpang Lengkuas, Antijamur, Trichophyton rubrum. Chinese Ketepeng and galangal rhizome are herbal plants that can be used as an antifungal. Chinese Ketepeng leaves are known to contain flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins and tannins. Galangal rhizome is known to contain flavonoids and phenols. The purpose of this research isTo determine the antifungal effect of a combination of Chinese Ketepeng leaf extract (Cassia alata, L) and galangal rhizome extract (Alpinia galanga, L) with extract variations 0: 1, 1: 0, 1: 1, 1: 3, and 3: 1 in inhibiting the growth of Trichophyton rubrum. This research method is an experimental laboratory. Chinese Ketepeng leaf extract and galangal rhizome were obtained by maceration method using 70% ethanol as solvent. The method of testing for antifungal activity was the paper disk diffusion method. The test results were analyzed using the Anova test (One Way Anova). The results of this study indicated that all extracts had antifungal activity against Trichophyton rubrum. The combination extract of Chinese Ketepeng leaves and galangal rhizome in the 3: 1 extract variation is the most active combination of extracts as an antifungal compared to the extract variations of 0: 1, 1: 0, 1: 1, and 1: 3. With an average diameter of the inhibition zone 18.75 mm. Key words: Chinese Ketepeng leaf extract, galangal rhizome extract, antifungal, Trichophyton rubrum.
