Abstract
Senyawa squalene (2,6,10,15,19,23-heksametil-6,6,10,14,18,20- tetracosaheksana) merupakan senyawa golongan triterpen polihidrokarbon dibentuk dari enam unit isoprena. Penelitian ini menggunakan selasih (Ocimum basilicum L) menghasilkan nilai rendemen, yaitu 58,65 % (n-heksana); 75,04 % (etil asetat); 68,67 % (etanol 96 %). Nilai bobot jenis diperoleh 0,7272 g/mL (nheksana); 1,0127 g/mL (etil asetat); 0,8127 g/mL (etanol 96 %). Energi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengekstraksi diperoleh 15,024 joule (n-heksana); 18,271 joule (etil asetat); 15,420 joule (etanol 96 %). Metode pemisahan squalene dalam sampel bahan alam yang sesuai menggunakan metode solid phase extraction dan kromatografi kolom gravitasi. Penetapan kadar terhadap squalene menggunakan kromatografi gas menghasilkan konsentrasi tertinggi yaitu extra virgin olive oil dengan rentang 0,81-1,02 g / 100 g. Kata kunci : squalene, sonikasi, pemisahan, kadar squalene Squalene compound (2,6,10,15,19,23-hexamethyl-6,6,10,14,18,20-tetracosahexane) is a triterpene polyhydrocarbon group compound formed from six isoprene units. This study used basil (Ocimum basilicum L) extracted by sonication yield values, namely 58.65 (n-hexane); 75.04 (ethyl acetate); and 68.67% (ethanol 96%). The specific gravity value obtained was 0.7272 (n-hexane); 1.0127 (ethyl acetate); and 0.8127 g / mL (96% ethanol). The energy required to extract is obtained 15,024 (n-hexane); 18,271 (ethyl acetate); and 15,420 joules (96% ethanol). The method of separating squalene in suitable natural material samples uses solid phase extraction and gravity column chromatography methods. Determination of levels of squalene using gas chromatography produced the highest concentration, namely extra virgin olive oil with a range from 0.81 to 1.02 g / 100 g.
