Abstract
Abuse of psychotropic substances can have a detrimental effect, therefore it is necessary to carry out strict protection and supervision. Storage and distribution is one form of management of psychotropic which is a form of protection and supervision so that the quality of psychotropic, safety and security is guaranteed . This study purpose to evaluate the storage and distribution with the aim of providing benefits in improving the quality, safety and circulation of psychotropic drugs. This study is non-experimental which used descriptive and observative research designs. The data was collected from observations and interviews were compared with the standard storage and distribution indicators. The data was reviewed using standard indicators set by Kemenkes RI & JICA's 2010 and regulation of Mentri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No 3 of 2015. Based on the results obtained from the conclusions of the evaluation of the storage and distribution of psychotropic drugs in Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital in 2019 namely the percentage of expired drugs by 25%; percentage of drugs damaged by 0%; the percentage of psychotropic warehouses at 80%; the percentage of service installation space by 100%; the percentage of psychotropic special cabinets by 40%; percentage of accuracy in drug distribution by 100%; percentage of drug contribution rate of 100%; the average percentage of time the drug is empty is 0%.
