Abstract
Fisetin includes the BCS class II drug group having a solubility of 0.002 mg/ml with very low absorption of about 10%, so that it is still very little used as an active compound. The solubility of fisetin can be enhanced by transfersom drug delivery system and serum preparations. This research aims to determine the influence of the concentration of surfactants on Transfersom Fisetin, knowing the characterization of fisetin and to determine the stability of serum fisetin preparations in Transfersom system. Transfersom fisetin on this study carried out differences in the concentration of Phospfatidilcholine: Tween 80 ie 90:10 Formula 1; 85:15 Formula 2; 80:20 Formula 3; 75:25 Formula 4. The Formula fisetin Transfersom system is characterised by seeing the particle size and zeta potential.. Results of the characterization of the Transfersom Fisetin is best made in serum preparations. Serum is characterised by antioxidant testing with DPPH method, pH test and viscosity test. Variations of surfactant concentrations result in transfersom with difference in particle size and zeta potential of the four formulas. The characterization Fisetin Transfersom produces a consecutive size of 611.8; 642.2; 986.166; 957.066 nm. Zeta potential Transfersom Fisetin of-16.4333; -4.1733; -8.233; -4, 0933mV. Fisetin Transfersom is stable in the storage process at room temperature. The characterization of serum Transfersom fisetin with serum pH test showed pH 6.32. Serum fisetin 1100 cPs and a stable serum in room temperature storage so that the serum preparations produce good physical quality tests. Keywords: Antioxidants, Fisetin, Serum, Transfersom
