Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The drugs commonly used are isoniazid, ethambutol, rifampin, pyrazinamide, and streptomycin. This study aims to determine the suitability of the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Kedawung II Public Health Center, Sragen Regency in 2018. This research is a non-experimental descriptive research. Retrospective data collection, using purposive sampling technique, and analyzed descriptively. The data collection criteria were patients who had complete medical records, patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and patients who received TB treatment at the Kedawung II Public Health Center, Sragen Regency in 2018. Data were obtained from 37 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The use of OAT in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at Kedawung II Public Health Center, Sragen Regency in 2018 is in accordance with the 2014 National Guidelines for Tuberculosis Control from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. From this study, it was found that the correct percentage was 100% correct, 100% correct drug, 89.19% correct dose, and 100% correct patient.
