Abstract
COVID-19 or Coronavirus Disease 2019 is a disease caused by SARS-Cov- 2 that has spread in the world and is designated as a pandemic by WHO. To fulfill the need for drugs to countermeasures COVID-19, the role of the Pharmacy Installation is very vital to support health care and preparedness during a pandemic. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the stages of drug management in the COVID-19 countermeasures in Central Kalimantan, to find out whether there are problems, to know the weak points of implementation so that improvements can be made to improve service quality. This research was done qualitatively and quantitatively by held interviews and retrospectively tracing documents. Evaluation using indicators at the planning stage, namely the percentage of planning accuracy, at the procurement stage, namely the percentage of drug availability as needed, at the storage stage in the form of the percentage of expired and damaged drugs, the storage system, and at the distribution stage in the form of the percentage of physical quantity matched with the card, the percentage of dead stock, and the percentage deviation of drug distribution. Drug management data were collected retrospectively and then evaluated and compared with the standards of the Ministry of Health (2010) and Pudjaningsih (1996). The results showed that there were differences in drug management at the planning stage using the ESFT method. The drug management system is in accordance with the standards in addition to the accuracy of planning, dead stock and compatibility of physical quantities with stock cards. The factors causing the mismatch were lack of human resources, lack of communication and accuracy of officers. Keyword : Drug management, Pharmacy Department, COVID-19 countermeasures drug
