Abstract

Asthma is one of the diseases suffered by many people in Indonesia and in the world, in 2013 the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that there were already 300 million people in the world who suffer from asthma and it will increase every year. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of prescribing anti-plasma drugs and to determine the suitability of the administration of these anti-plasma drugs with the Asthma Treatment Guidelines according to the Depkes 2009. Research activities that will be carried out at the hospital cannot be carried out directly, because of the limitations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic so that researchers use the journal review method to obtain data from research journals that have been conducted previously. The article review method used is a Systematic Literature Review (Systematic Review) which is carried out systematically with several stages starting from collecting, selecting to getting 10 journals according to what is needed and according to the criteria. Journals are selected based on the desired criteria, searches are carried out using keywords. The results of a journal review regarding the pattern of prescribing anti-asthma drugs used in asthma patients are Salbutamol, either given orally or inhaled, besides giving antiasthma drugs to treat comorbidities that cause asthma symptoms. The suitability of giving asthma drugs to asthma patients in the hospital is in accordance with the guidelines for treating asthma according to the Depkes 2009.
