Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a worldwide disease and is still of special concern to the world of health. Adherence to the use of good and effective antituberculosis drugs can affect patient recovery. The purpose of this study was to determine adherence to the use of antituberculosis drugs in hospitals in 2015-2020 using the journal literature method. This research uses literature methode review with 10 scientific journals. The method used from journals using questionnaires, interviews, tuberculosis treatment sign cards and data collection. The guidelines used are based on the Ministry of Health Regulation Number 67 of 2016 concerning Tuberculosis Control. The results of this study indicate that the level of adherence in the hospital is the lowest level of adherence to 25% and the largest pattern of adherence to drug use is 85.4%. Adherence to the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs can be influenced by knowledge, motivation and good support. Better educational relationships can make better compliance.
