Abstract

Flies are Arthropods belonging to the Diptera order. Flies act as mechanical vectors of various diseases that fly is a carrier or move the diseases from one place to another, especially diseases of the digestive tract of food. This study used a random sampling technique. The research was conducted at Parasitology Laboratory of Faculty of Health Sciences Setia Budi University, Surakarta. The examination method used is physiological NaCl precipitation method then microscopic observation. The results of this study were 20 samples of flies consisting of 10 samples of Musca domestica and 10 samples of Chrysoma megachepala. The result showed that 1 sample of positive Musca domestica flyfish carry filariform larvae with 10% percentage. Keywords: intestinal nematode, flies, final disposal site
