Abstract

Pain in an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience resulting from tissue damage, so the administration of analgesia is very important. Analgesics are drugs used to reduce or eliminate pain or painkillers without losing consciousness. This study aims to determine the analgesic effect of jackfruit leaf infusion (Artocarpus heterophyllus L). At a dose of 300 mg/kg BW, 600 mg/kg BW, 1200 mg/kg BW against white male mice (Mus musculus). This research is an experimental research. The filtering method was carried out using the infusion method and analgesia test method carried out using the tailflick method. The principle og the tail-flick method by recording the time it takes the test animal to survive the thermal stimulus (temperature 50℃) on the tail. The results obtained in the form of percnt analgesic power of jackfruit leaf infusion (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam) with a dose of 300 mg/kg BW (35,65%); 600 mg/kg BW (36,12%); 1200 mg/kg BW (48,24%). From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the jackfruit leaf infusion (Artocarpus heterophyllus L) has the most effective analgesic effect at a dose of 1200 mg/kg BW has a percent analgesic power of 48,24% Kata Kunci : Analgesic, jackfruit leaves (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam), infusion, tail-flick method.
