Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Transmission of this bacterium is through droplets of positive Tuberculosis patients containing the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacillus. To find out someone has pulmonary tuberculosis, an examination must be carried out. The examinations carried out included BTA examination using the Ziehl Neelsen method, TCM GeneXpert, Thoracic Photo. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of patients who were positive on Ziehl Neelsen, TCM, and Thoracic examinations at Soewondo Pati Hospital in January - February 2020. This research uses descriptive method by collecting secondary data. The sampling method used was the purposive sampling method. The results of the data that have been obtained are then presented as a percentage for each examination which is written in the patient's medical record. The results obtained from 35 patient data are BTA examination with ZN staining, the number of positive patient data is 11 data (31.43%). The results of the TCM GeneXpert examination total positive samples are 24 patient data (68.57). Positive chest X-ray examination as many as 16 patient data (45.71%).
