Abstract

Diabetes mellitus complication with hypertension is the beginning of the process cardiovascular diseases and complications of diabetes mellitus. Required proper management accompanied by process analysis of therapy given so that expected can prevent complication. This study to determine the suitability the use of antidiabetics drug based on types of drugs, dosage, route and frecuency then compared with guide practice hospital clinic and guideline The research is non experimental research with a retrospective survey conducted through medical record of the patient diabetes mellitus type 2 with major complication is hypertension who are undergoing inpatient at January 2017 till July 2017 at RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. Analysis of antidiabetics drug use reviewed from 30 medical records then presented by suitability of the diabetes mellitus type 2 with hypertension be the points that right drug, dosage, route and frequency of drug administration. Based on the analysis of the drug use from 30 patients obtained 6 patients (20%) that gift was not appropriate literature, because the dosage is too low or over. From the results it can be concluded that suitability of antidiabetics drug use based on right drug (100%), right dosage (79,97%), right frequency (100%) and right route (100%).
