Abstract

Counseling is a health service by providing information about drugs by pharmacists to patients. The counseling procedure has been listed in the PERMENKES RI No. 73 of 2016. Pati Regency is a small district in the Central Java region which is still in the development stage. There is no data that raises the problem of implementing counseling by pharmacists at the Pati Regency pharmacy. So the purpose of this study is to find out the extent to which the implementation of counseling by pharmacists in pharmacies in Pati Regency. The method used for sampling is purposive sampling with data taken from a questionnaire that has been compiled by the authors guided by PERMENKES RI No. 73 of 2016. Questionnaires are given to pharmacists directly and online with the sample criteria of pharmacists being active pharmacists, working at pharmacies in Pati Regency, once do counseling at the pharmacy at least once, not a pharmacist assistant, and willing to be a respondent. To analyze the relationship between counseling barriers and the implementation of counseling using the Chi-square. Overall data obtained is 47 pharmacists with 45 pharmacists included in the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data that entered the exclusion inclusion criteria were processed and the results showed that the implementation of counseling by pharmacists at the Pati Regency pharmacy was running according to the PERMENKES RI No. 73 of 2016. The obstacles in implementing counseling did not have a relationship with the implementation of counseling. Keywords: Evaluation, counseling, pharmacist, pharmacy, PERMENKES RI No 73 of 2016.
