Abstract
Drug storage management in public health center if done properly will be able to guarantee the quality of drugs that will be delivered to the patients. Aims to maintain the quality of pharmaceutical preparations, prevent irresponsible use, maintain supply, and simplify drug search and surveillance. Purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of drug storage at the Serongga Public Health Center with standard indicators which include conformity between card stock and drugs quantity, percentage of expired or damaged drugs, warehouse arrangement system, percentage of dead stock, results of observations and interviews. Design of this study was non-experimental, descriptive through drug storage observations at public health center. Data collected at Serongga Public Health Center, Kelumpang Hilir, Kotabaru Regency from September to October 2021. Obtained data were evaluated using standard drug storage indicators and Technical Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Service Standards at Public Health Center (2019). Results of this study were indicators that comply with the standards was drug arrangement system using FIFO and FEFO systems was 100%, the suitability between drugs quantity and stock cards was 100%, percentage of expired nor damaged drugs was 0%, and discrepancy indicators with standards were percentage of dead stock was 0.405% and observations through checklist sheets and interviews was 83.50% Keywords: Evaluation, Drug Storage, Indicator, Public Health Center
