Abstract
Hyperuricemia caused by an increase in serum uric acid level ≥ 360 mol/L. Gout caused by the deposition of monosodium urate crystals in the joints and kidneys. Green meniran believed to have properties in overcoming hyperuricemia and gout. Research based on network pharmacology used to determine the relationship of molecular proteins to hyperuricemia and gout. This study aims to determine the molecular protein that is predicted to be the target of the compound in green meniran and how the pharmacology network profile is formed. This research uses Cytoscape software to build network pharmacology. The sample in this study used the chemical content of green meniran obtained from the KNApSAcK web database and the target protein was obtained from the Supertarget database. Gene names that have been obtained are validated using the Uniprot database and then look for protein-protein interactions using the STRING database. Protein-protein interactions with a value of 0.9 and above were collected as data. Predict the target protein using SwissTargetPrediction. The tabulated data is imported into Cytoscape to build the network. Network visualization shows that quercetin interacts as ABCG2-inhibitor, ABCC1-inhibitor, FIH1-inhibitor, MMP2-inhibitor, inhibitor-MMP9, NFKB1- inhibitor, COX2-inhibitor, ALOX5-inhibitor, 12hLO-inhibitor, 15hLO-inhibitor, XO-inhibitor ; isoquercetin interact as XO-inhibitors.
