Abstract

The Effect of Job Insecurity on Turnover Intentions as Mediated by Job Satisfaction and Moderated by Person-Supervisor Fit. Skripsi. S1 Hospital Management. Economics Faculty. Setia Budi University of Surakarta. Mentor I. Nang Among Budiadi, SE., M.Sc. Mentor II. Finisha Mahaestri Noor, B.Com., M.P.H. This study aims to examine the effect of employee job insecurity on turnover intentions as mediated by job satisfaction factors and moderated by a person-supervisor fit. This research was conducted at PT Asia Cakra Ceria by using sample of 200 respondents who work in PT Asia Cakra Ceria. Data collection in this study by using a questionnaire. Sampling technique used is non random proportional sampling. Data analysis used is regression analysis with moderator variable and simple regression analysis processed by using SPSS version 20 software. The results of data processing in this study indicate that job satisfaction has no significant effect on turnover intentions. In addition, job insecurity has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Other results indicate that, person-supervisor fit does not moderate the relationship between job insecurity and job satisfaction.
