Abstract
Pain is a sensory and emotional experience that has a feeling of discomfort due to potential tissue damage Analgesic is a drug that is intended as a pain reliever or pain caused by several things. Soursop leaf is a traditional plant that can be used as an painkiller based on the chemical content in it such as flavonoids, alkaloids and tannins. This study aims to determine the effective dose of soursop seed ethanol extract which provides analgesic effect on white male mice, Mus musculus. This study used soursop seed extract with three dosage variants, namely 1.5 g/kgBW, 3 g/kgBW, and 6 g/kgBW for the dose of mice, the positive control used was paracetamol with a dose of 9.1 mg/kgBW and a negative control. CMC-Na 1%. Analgesic testing method using chemical stimulants with the induction of acetic acid. The data obtained in the form of the number of stretching mice from each treatment, where the data were analyzed statistically. The Shapiro-Wilk used to test the normality of the data followed by the homogeneity test. Some of the data obtained were not normal and not homogeneous, so the test was continued with a non-parametric test using Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney. The results showed that the ethanolic extract of soursop seeds had an analgesic effect on white male Mus musculus mice at doses of 1.5 g/kgBW, 3 g/kgBW, and 6 g/kgBW where the best dose of soursop seed ethanol extract was at a dose of 6 g/kgBW. provide effective analgesic effect against white male mice Mus musculus.
