Abstract

This study aims to determine the Relationship between family support with accepting yourself, the extent to which family support is instrumental in accepting yourself of breast cancer patients. Variable in this research consist of free variable (X) that is family support and dependent variable (Y) that is self acceptance. This research was conducted in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta with a total of 55 patients in the chemotherapy and surgical treatment room.This research uses quantitative-correlation approach where in this research will get the significance value of the variable that will be research. Based on the results of the data analysis was obtained normality test with the level of family support significance of 0.617 and the level of self-recipient acceptance of 0.371 means the distribution of family support with accepting yourself has normal data so that it can be continued with product moment correlation test obtained value of correlation coefficient of 0.723 with Significance of 0.000, based on significance value <0.05 then Ha accepted which means there is a signi fi cant relationship between family support with self-acceptance in breast cancer patients.
