Abstract

This study aims to examined the relationship among several variables and wants to produce a better model of previous research by relating the rotation and role stress variables. Data obtained through questionnaires on employees of PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta both medical and non medical. Samples used were employees who have felt the rotation of work. Sampling technique were a random sample with two stage sampling cluster method but because of the existing constraints in the field then all the samples of 102 people were used. Hypothesis were tested by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) modeling analysis. The results in this study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive effect on organizational commitment of employees. Stress role has a negative effect on organizational commitment. Stress role has a negative effect on job satisfaction. Work rotation has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Work rotation positively affects organizational commitment. In addition, work rotation negatively affects the role of stress. Keywords: employee rotation, role stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
