Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas not being able to produce enough insulin or the body not being able to use the insulin it produces effectively. This study aims to determine the consumption of diabetes mellitus drugs in PRB patients as well as the cost of drug use and compliance with FORNAS. This research uses descriptive analysis with ATC/DDD and 90% DU method. The data taken include the name of the drug, drug class, dosage form, drug dose and amount of drug use, then classified to obtain the ATC code and identification of DDD for each Diabetes Mellitus based on the guidelines set by the WHO Collaborative Center. The results of this study, namely the consumption of oral antidibetic drugs in PRB patients, it is known that at Kimia Farma Pharmacy consume a lot of metformin and Gama Pharmacy consumes a lot of Glimepirid. Kimia Farma pharmacies use Metformin a lot with a total cost of Rp. 91,906,320. Apotek Gama mostly uses Glimepirid drug with a total cost of Rp. 5,229.504, and it is known that 100% of Gama Pharmacy and Kimia Farma Pharmacy of 89% of the drugs given are in accordance with FORNAS.
