Abstract

Drug Related Problem (DRP) is a problem related to treatment, which is an event or condition related to drug therapy, which potentially or actually affects the patient's clinical outcome. The purpose of the study was to determine the potential for Drug Related Problems (DRP) and identify the potential for DRP in the categories of too high dose, too low dose, indication without drugs, drugs without indications and drug interactions in medical record data for kidney failure with hypertension in the Inpatient Installation of RSUD dr. Soediran MS Wonogiri in 2021. The study design was descriptive analytic, retrospectively collected data on patients with renal failure with hypertension and then calculated the potential for DRP. Inclusion criteria were medical record data with a diagnosis of kidney failure with hypertension with blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg. The DRP incident data was processed into tabular form that presented the number and percentage using statistical descriptive tests, namely MS Excel, Medscape, JNC VII and drug information handbook. DRP with too high dose category 8 MR (33.33%), dose too low 20 MR (83.33%), indication without drug 7 MR (29.17%), drug without indication 6 MR (25%), and the interaction potential is 91.67% (22 MR).
