Abstract
Security Unit Officers (SATPAM) are employees who always play an active role in maintaining security and comfort in the workplace of the company or organization. In increasing a company's productivity security unit officers held a work shift system. This causes a decrease and increase in irregular hemoglobin levels due to an imbalance in the metabolic processes of red blood cells in the body. This research was conducted by taking 30 respondents of security unit officers (SATPAM) in Surakarta City. The time of the research on 21 – 24 June 2022 was carried out at the Surakarta Regional Health Laboratory UPT. Determination of hemoglobin levels using analyzer method. This type of research is descriptive analytic with purposive sampling technique. Based on research on the description of hemoglobin levels in security unit officers (SATPAM) it was found that hemoglobin levels were less than normal as many as 9 officers (30%), normal hemoglobin levels in security unit officers (SATPAM) were 18 officers (60%), and hemoglobin levels were more than normal as many as 3 officers (10%). Security unit officers (SATPAM) are expected to always maintain the quality of food intake in order to maintain normal hemoglobin levels in the body.
