Abstract
Mortality in pregnant women in Indonesia is still increasing. One of the causes of death in pregnant women is preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is hypertension during pregnancy. Symptoms found in patients with preeclampsia is proteinuria. Proteinuria is an excess of protein that is secreted in the urine. The presence of proteinuria can be used as a sign of early kidney disease. The purpose of this study is more focused on the description of proteinuria in pregnant women. This research method uses data from pregnant women in the Wonogiri area. Analysis of the data used using descriptive statistics. The results of urine protein examination in first trimester pregnant women at the Wonogiri II Public Health Center showed that as many as 48 respondents who were examined using the dipstick method were all negative, namely 48 respondents (100%) and none were positive. Based on the research conducted at the Wonogiri II Health Center entitled "Overview of Proteinuria Examination Results in Pregnant Women at the Wonogiri II Health Center" with 48 respondents it can be concluded that all respondents were negative for proteinuria (100%).
