Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by infection with Mycobactertum tuberculosis. Most TB bacteria attack the lungs, but can also affect other organs. The purpose of this study was to find out OAT in adult patients with TB cases at the inpatient installation of Nganjuk Hospital in 2021 that have met the criteria for rational drug use including the right diagnosis, the right indication, the right drug, the right dose, the right patient to find out the length of treatment of the patient's treatment outcomes at the Nganjuk Hospital. This research was conducted with a non- experimental descriptive research type with retrospective data collection. The sample for this study were all patients diagnosed with TB listed in the medical records at the Nganjuk Hospital Inpatient Installation in 2021 which involved 77 samples adjusted for inclusion criteria. This study used 77 samples of medical records of THC patients from the Inpatient Installation of Nganjuk Hospital and the results obtained were 100% correct indication, 100% correct patient, 100% correct drug, 80.52% correct dose, 35 people received less than 6 months of treatment. (45.45%), exactly 6 months as many as 27 people (35.07%), and more than 6 months or repeating as many as 15 people (19.48%). Keywords: Tuberculosis; inpatient; drug use; Nganjuk Hospital 2021.
