Abstract

Alcoholic beverages are beverages containing ethanol processed from agricultural products containing carbohydrates by fermentation and distillation, this drink has long been known to the public in Indonesia and has become a common problem in the world, some studies have shown that alcohol consumption will lower hemoglobin, erythrocytes , leukocytes and platelet levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of routine blood tests in alcohol drinkers. The study was conducted at the Puskesmas Laboratory of Banyuanyar, with 30 samples of alcohol vein drinkers in the village of Delanggu, Klaten District. The method used to perform routine blood tests is the automatic method, using the Hematology analyzer tool. Based on the results of research that has been done on 30 samples of alcohol drinkers showed that normal hemoglobin level of 28 people (93.3%), less than normal as much as 1 person (3.3%), more than normal as much as 1 person (3.3% ), a normal leukocyte count of 21 (70%), less than normal of 1 person (3.3%), more than normal of 8 people (26.7%), normal erythrocyte level 23 people (76.7), more than normal 5 people (16.7%), less than normal 2 people (6.6%), normal hematocrit level was 25 people (83.3%), less than normal 1 person (3.3%), more than normal 4 people ( 13.3%), and normal thrombocyte levels were 30 (100%).
