Abstract
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is an infection caused by a virus and attacks the human immune system. The number of HIV cases from 2006 to 2017 was 241,840. the highest HIV cases were reported in the 25-49 age group, followed by age group 20-24 years, and age group > 50 years. The cases of HIV / AIDS that occur in adolescents each year always increase. The age of the students generally belong to the productive age group (15-49 years). The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of HIV in students because students Health Analyst should be free from HIV. Method in this research is observasional by using cross sectional design. In this HIV examination is done serologically by using rapid test HIV. The sample used was serum of 25 students of Health Analyst Setia Budi Surakarta University. The results of HIV testing using rapid test method on 25 students of Health Analyst Setia Budi Surakarta University showed that no students are infected with HIV. HIV prevalence among students of Setia Budi University Health Analyst at 0%. Keywords : HIV, Student, Rapid Test.
