Abstract

Anisa Haryunta, 2023. Quality Control Analysis of the Hematology Analyzer Tool at the Hematology Laboratory of Setia Budi University, "Scientific Writing", D3 Health Analyst Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Setia Budi University. Laboratory examination consists of a series of related processes. The examination process in the laboratory is divided into 3 stages, namely the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stages. Quality control is a process within a procedure that is used to evaluate the testing process with the aim of ensuring that the quality system is running properly and is carried out to guarantee the results of laboratory tests, identify and minimize deviations and identify sources of deviations. Aims to find out how to analyze the quality control of the hematology analyzer in the Setia Budi University laboratory. The method used was a descriptive research design with a crosssectional approach, with a population and sample of quality control results then analyzed into the Westgrad Multirule and the Levey-Jenning chart. HGB examination results (CV = 1.03% and d% = 0.49%), on HCT examination (CV = 3.53% and d% = 0.86%), on RBC examination (CV = 3.40% and d% = 0.33%), on WBC examination (CV = 2.57% and d% = 0.17%) and on PLT examination (CV = 4.07% and d% = 0.20%). The results show that the TE(%) value is greater than the TEA(%) value for the HGB, WBC and PLT parameters, while for the HCT and RBC parameters the TE(%) value is smaller than the TEA(%) value. In the Westgrad Multirules analysis, there were no deviations in the HGB, while in the RBC, WBC and PLT examination parameters it was found that several parameters were within the 12S warning rule and the RBC HCT was found to be in the 41S and 10x rejection rules. The Medonic M-Series 16M Hematology Analyzer Tool at the Setia Budi University Hematology Laboratory, the tool is imprecise and inaccurate, so it is necessary to carry out equipment maintenance to ensure valid examination results and improve examination quality
