D-III Health Analyst Study Program Setia Budi University Surakarta. Environmental pollution is a risk factor for human and animal poisoning, especially heavy metal pollution. Heavy metal pollution in freshwater and seawater can be caused by industrial waste. Heavy metal chromium is one of the heavy metals that has a high toxicity that can harm vital organs such as the liver and kidneys. Aim To determine whether there is heavy metal chromium in Spotted barbsamples and to determine the level of heavy metal chromium in Spotted barb samples in the Trangsan Gatak Sukoharjo river. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative methods. This study to detect heavy metal chromium using the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry) method tool. The test results of heavy metal chromium (Cr) content in Spotted barb (Puntius binotatus) in Trangsan River Gatak Sukoharjo. the highest is point 3 with levels of 0.3772 mg / kg then point 1 with levels of 0.3771 mg / kg then point 2 with levels of 0.3756 mg / kg. There is chromium content in Spotted barb (Puntius binotatus) found in the Trangsan River Gatak Sukoharjo heavy metal content of chromium in Spotted barb (Puntius binotatus) in the river in Trangsan River Gatak Sukoharjo which reads in small concentrations.gytujy
