Abstract
ABSTRACT This research was conducted to predict mental health. Mental health is predicted by depression, anxiety and stress-mediated by fatigue constructs. The study was conducted using a survey design. Data collection used a questionnaire to respondents who use social media more than 7 hours per day. The sample size were 235 respondents obtained by purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis was tested using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and regression analysis. The results of the analysis show: (1) fatigue has a significant effect on depression, (2) fatigue has a significant effect on anxiety, (3) fatigue has a significant effect on stress, (4) fatigue mediates the relationship between social media addiction and mental disorders, and (5) addiction social media has a significant effect on fatigue that the 5 hypotheses proposed are supported. So it can be concluded: the decline in mental health is caused by the high intensity of social media use mediated by fatigue from using devices for too long.
