Quintao, C.J. 2023.Differences in Hemoglobin Levels in ComponentsPacked Red Cell Stored at 7,14 and 21 days at the Dili Timor Leste Blood Bank.Thesis for D4 Health Analyst Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Setia Budi University Packed Red Cell used to increase the number of red blood cells in patients showing symptoms of anemia, who only need oxygen- carrying red blood cells only, for example in patients with kidney failure or anemia due to malignancy. Proper levels of hemoglobin in blood components are important to ensure safe and effective blood transfusions. Hemoglobin that is too low can lead to insufficient oxygen in the blood recipient, while hemoglobin that is too high can cause cardiac overload in the patient, as long as storage of blood components helps understand how the quality of blood products changes over time. This type of research uses an observational analytic research design approachcross sectional To determine the difference in hemoglobin levels inpacked red cell (PRC) kept at the Dili Timor-Leste blood bank for 7,14 and 21 days. The samples in this study were PRC blood components kept at the Dili blood bank, Timor-Leste , which is taken with the techniquequota Sampling as many as 30. The data obtained will be tested for normality usingShapiro Wilk and the results were tested usingGreenhouse – Geisser. The results showed that blood stored for 7, 14, and 21 days had significantly different hemoglobin levels. Statistical test results with testGreenhouse – Geisser It is known that a significance value of <0.001 is obtained which is lower than 0.05. These results indicate that the length of time blood is stored in the blood bank will affect the hemoglobin level in the blood content
