Relationship between Mean Platelet Volume (Mpv) and Platelet Values Distribution Width (Pdw) With Degree of Severity of Dengue Infection at Rimba Ayu Health Center, Bangun Darat City. D4 Health Analyst Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Setia Budi University. Dengue infection is an arbovirus infection spread by the Aedes Aegypti and albopictus mosquito vectors with four dengue virus serotypes (DENV) 1-4. Dengue virus infection is one of the largest arbovirus diseases in the world. Dengue virus infection is caused by viruses DENV 1, DENV 2, DENV 3, and DENV 4. Dengue virus is transmitted by the vectors of Aedes Aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. The adult Aedes Aegypti mosquito lays its eggs in clear water. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between the Mean Platelet Value (MPV) and Platelet Distribution Width (PDW) with the degree of severity of DHF infection at the Puskesmas Rimba Ayu Kota Bangun Darat. This research used observational analytic data with a cross-sectional research design using 50 respondents. The data in this study is secondary data derived from laboratory data of incoming patients with data on the severity of dengue inpatients at the Rimba Ayu Health Center, Kota Bangun Darat District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. This research was conducted in May - June 2023. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between the MPV value and the severity of dengue infection (p = 0.592) and the PDW value with the severity of dengue infection (p = 0.922) at the Rimba Ayu Health Center, Bangun Darat.
