D4 Health Ana lyst Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Setia Budi. Laboratory services are services that can cause satisfaction to every patient. The demand for good analytical quality continues to in crease as physicians and patients increasingly rely on laboratory test results for optimal diagnosis and treatment. Six sigma measures the in spection performance process by calculating the defect incidence rate per million opportunities (DPMO). The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of six sigma metrics in maintaining the quality of blood glucose test control in laboratory installations. This study is a type of observational retrospective study to de termine the implementation of six sigma metrics in maintaining the quality of control of blood glucose tests in laboratory installations. TEa values are derived from chemical parameters taken from CLIA guide lines (Harr et al., 2013). The calculation of mean, SD and KV values is obtained from internal control quality data and the calculation of bias d (%) value from external quality assurance (PME) data for the one period 2022 cycle. Data is processed using six sigma matrices. KV results in January, March, April, May and June do not ex ceed the maximum limit of 5% meaning careful examination. Bias (d%) obtained results of 0.22% means accurate. Sigma results obtained 2.62 obtained σ <3 which means that strict QC procedures are needed. The implementation of six sigma metrics on blood glucose control ma terials in the Hospital X Surakarta Laboratory has a sigma metrics val ue that still needs evaluation.
