Abstract
Indonesia's tropical natural wealth allows many useful plants to thrive among the sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata Burm.f. Nees.) And meniran (Phyllanthus niruri L.) which are empirically used as external medicine and internal medicine. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of extract and determine the effective combination dose as antipyretic. The extraction method used was maceration with 70% ethanol solvent. Mice were divided into 8 treatment groups. Each mouse-induced Pentabio vaccine (DPT-HB-HIB) with a dose of 0.2 ml / 20 g BB. The negative control group was given Na CMC, the positive control group was given paracetamol and the extract group with the combined dosage as follows group 1 (100: 0)% / 20 g BB, group 2 (0: 100)% / 20 g BB, group 3 (100 : 100)% / 20 g BB, group 4 (50: 50)% / 20 g BB, group 5 (75: 25)% / 20 g BB and group 6 (25: 75)% / 20 g BB. Temperature measurements were carried out for 3 hours at 30 minute intervals. The measurement data were analyzed statistically using 2 Independent Samples method. The result of research showed that the combination of extracts have antipyretic effects. The effective combination for antipyretic agent was 75% sambiloto and 25% meniran herb ethanol extracts (75 : 25) %/20 g BB. Keywords: Sambiloto, Meniran, Ethanol extract, Antipyretic
