Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the health problems in the world because of high death rate. Based health research in Indonesia in 2013, the prevalence of pneumonia in Indonesia is 4.5%. Social and economic factors contribute increases the mortality rate. The purpose of this reseach is to compare the real cost to the INA-CBGs rates, and to know factors affecting the real cost of treatment pneumonia in hospitals Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. This research is an analytic observational study using cross sectional design according to the hospital's perspective, the method of data collection is retrospectively from a national health insurance claim file the period October 2014 to April 2016 with INA-CBGs code J-4-16-I, J-4 -16-II and J-4-16-III. Descriptive analysis is used for patient characteristics, analyzes the data using one sample t test to compare the real cost to the INA-CBGs rates, and analyzes correlation to determine the factors affecting the real cost. The results showed there were differences but not significant between the real cost with tariff INA - CBG 's in all classes and all levels of severity except the severity was grade 2 class 3 with a P value of 0.024 . Factors that affect the length , the numb of stay, quantity secondary diagnoses , quantity of procedure and severity level. Keywords: Pneumonia, INA-CBG’s, Real Cost
