Abstract

Drug related problems is one of many issues that may occur following drug therapy. Patients suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic ulcer often cause new problems in patients, so that patients with diabetes mellitus with diabetik ulcer complication should get a very good. particularly the issue of patient compliance is one of the conditions that can cause drug related problems. A experimental study prospektive survey was conducted, directly to meet the patien, and based on the medical record of type 2 diabetic patient with diabetic ulcer as the major complication, Outpatient during a period of November 2017 till January 2018 at the Puskesmas of Rapak Mahang Tenggarong. Drug related problems were reviewed from the medical record and analyzed using the percentages sosiodemografi of cases associated with drug related problems. Of 31 patients who fit study criteria and medical records obtained and analyzed, the percentages of case associated with drug related problems were reported. The type of cases were analyzed based on two categories, namely drug related problems associated with therapy for type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic ulcer. Of 31 patients, 8 patients had Drug Related Problems with 31 cases of Drug Related Problems. This study demonstrated that the drug related problems associated with therapy for type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic ulcer were as follows: drug needed requrements have been met, drug dose is too high no problems foud and drug dose is too low no problems found, and patients who are not obedient (25,8%) It can concluded that the number of occurrences Drug Related Problems it happens does not effect the achievement of the target of decreased blood sugar levels, as well as long outpatient of patients with improved clinical outcome.
