Abstract
Diabetes Melitus type 2 is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood glucose level or insulin resistance. The purpose of this study aimed see the pattern of drug use in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the installation of outpatient hospital in Asy-Syifa Boyolali in July to December 2016. The method used in this study was non experimental descriptive nature, with retrospective data collection from medical records of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patient in Asy-Syifa Boyolali July to December 2016. The type of data obtained from medical records of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 outpatients in July to December 2016 which contains information about the patient name, sex, patient age, drug used, preparation dose used. From the results of the study the patterns results obtained by the use of drugs of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patient at outpatient installation of Asy-Syifa Boyolali in July to December 2016. Drugs that were often used (1) Metformin 38,1%, (2) Glimepirid + Metformin 26,4%, (3) Glimepirid 14,5%, (4) Acarbose 9,2%, (5) Gliquidone 3,9%, (6) Metformin XR 3,9%, (7) Acarbose + Glimepirid 2,6% dan (8) Acarbose + Metformin 1,3%. The most widely used antidiabetic drug was Biguanid class that Metformin, the standard of drug usage in Asy-Syifa Boyolali accuracy the standard of PERKENI 100% and Hospital Formulary 60%.
