Abstract
Nabati oil is a compound needed in everyday. The problem related with the use of nabati oil is a rampant of used nabati oil or waste nabati oil repeatedly. Oil is damaged if repeatedly warmed up, contact with water, air or metal. Oil damage can be prevented by active charcoal immersion. This research uses activated charcoal of cassava peel and peanut peel. Nabati oil prior to use for frying set as control. Nabati oil is used to fry tempe 5 times repetition. The treatment used is the active immersion of cassava peel and peanut peel. The determination of the peroxide value of waste nabati oil by iodometri metodh. The result showed peroxide valueonnabati oil without treatment as control and waste nabati oil respectively 3,58 mek O2/kg; 13,95 mek O2/kg. Decline in waste nabati oil by soaking the activated charcoal of cassava peel and peanut peel as big as 8,84mek O2/kg and 7,79 mek O2/kg.
