Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health problem with high morbidity and mortality of Inpatient Installation at dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Hospital Sragen. Usage of TB Drug must done rasionally based on Association Pulmonary Physicians of Indonesia guideline in order to not becoming resistant and reach optimal result. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of TB patients treatment of Inpatient at dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Hospital Sragen in 2014 - 2015 and the suitability with PDPI. The research was descriptive research, data collection retrospectively in 2014 - 2015 from medical records of tuberculosis patients. The sampling method was purposive sampling. The suitability of anti-tuberculosis drugs usage was measured based on the guideline of PDPI. The results showed that tuberculosis treatment of Inpatient Installation at dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro Hospital Sragen in 2014 - 2015 was use single dosage of generic TB Drug and FDC TB Drug. The suitability of TB treatment for 2014 in category 1 was 73.8% and category 2 was 70.0%, while in 2015 was 66.7% in category 1 and 88.7% in category 2 Keywords: tuberculosis, suitability of treatment, drug usage of anti tuberculosis, PDPI guideline
