Abstract
The country with humid climates the parasitic disease was still a serious health problem. One of the diseases we often encounter in women is Toxoplasmosis, the disease is caused by the species of Toxoplasma gondii parasites.This study was conducted with the aim to determine whether there is infection of toxoplasmosis in farmers and farm workers and to know what is the percentage of Toxoplasmosis positivity to the respondents. This study uses a sample of serum from respondents who are farmers and farm laborers at Klakah Jawa Timur. a total of 21 samples were examined using the Latex Agglutination Test. The implementation of this test was conducted at the Parasitology Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The results showed that toxoplasmosis by Latex Agglutination Test method was 38% positive and 62% negative. It can be concluded from the results of this study that there is infection Toksoplasmosis on farmers and farm workers in Klakah area of East Java.
