Abstract

Chronic renal failure is a public health problem that needs a lot of costs to sustain a patient’s life through hemodialysis. The study objectives were determined how much the real cost and the difference of the real cost and INA-CBGs package tariff in chronic renal failure patients who performed hemodialysis at General Hospital of Pandan Arang Boyolali. This research is analytic observation taken retrospectively from patient’s medical record and pharmacy record in January to December 2016 at General Hospital of Pandan Arang Boyolali. Inclusion criteria are patients with chronic renal failure who undergo hemodialysis during hospitalization. The data analyzing technique was used one sample t test to find the comparison of real cost average to INACBGs package tariff. Factors analysis that influences real cost was done by bivariate statisticak analysis. The results were showed that 52 (59,1%) of men and 36 (40,9%) of women who underwent hemodialysis at General Hospital of Pandan Arang Boyolali. There were 63 (71,6%) of whom had anemia, 4 (4,5%) of hypertension, 2 (2,2%) of diabetes mellitus. There is a significant difference between the real cost of chronic renal failure treatment inpatient to the INA-CBGs tariff of 82,793,674,- with the patients number as many as 88 patients where the largest difference is in the severity level II class 3. Based on the t-test result only Severity Level II of class 3 that there are significant differences with the p-value of < 0.05. the result was showed that hospitalization time was a factor influencing therapy cost with pvalue of 0.000.
