Abstract

Worm infection in Indonesia is still a lot happening especially class Nematode intestine Soil Transmitted Helminth group (STH). The brick worker is a job that spans the infection of worms. Caused because workers who are in direct contact with the ground, while working not using personal protective equipment (footwear, gloves), do not pay attention to personal hygiene. The purpose of this research is to know the presence or absence of infection of worms and beraprosentase of class of intestine nematode of Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH) group on brick worker in Karanganyar. The samples used for this study were feces and nail manure of 15 samples. The type of research used was observation, the sample test was done by direct method for feces and sedimentation method (precipitation) for nail impurities and examined under microscopic. Results of Identification of Intestinal Nematode Intestinal Soil transmitted helminth (STH) on stool samples and manure of brick worker nails In Karanganyar. The results showed that the faecal samples were negative, and the results on 15 nail smear samples were negative
