Abstract
Hypertension is one of the degenerative disease that requires a long even to care for life. Hypertension is the 10 biggest hospital disease Karanganyar Regency 2016. The most commonly used therapy is Amlodipin and Captopril. The use of the drug in the long term so that the impact on the cost of the treatment is so expensive, so need to compare more cost effective. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of therapy and in the patients hypertension Captopril Amlodipin inpatient hospitals in Karanganyar Regency 2016. The sampling technique was purposive sampling of hypertensive patients in inpatient HOSPITALS Karanganyar Regency 2016. Calculation of the effectiveness of the therapy include the fall in blood pressure reach the target of therapy as well as a comparison of the cost of the average total use of Captopril and Amlodipin. Continued independent sample t-test for the presence of a meaningful difference. The Research results showed the effectiveness of using percentage Based amlodipin stage I stage II 64.70 69.23%% and captopril stage I 33.33% and 26.66%. Research the average medical costs directly on the patient's hypertension drug Amlodipin stage I and stage II Rp 1,031,896 Rp 1,083,246, while Captopril in patients of hypertension stage I and stage II Rp 1,130,973 Rp 964,426. Group therapy Amlodipin stage I gain value ACER Rp 11,219, stage II Rp 16,925, Captopril therapy group stage I stage II 34,271 Rp Rp 37,093 Amlodipin therapy group stage so I the most cost effective compared to other therapy groups.
