Abstract
Urinary tract infections based on bladder examination were known to be caused by bacteria. Women are generally four to five times more likely to develop urinary tract infections than men. Antibiotics was the most widely used therapy option, 20-65% of its users were considered inaccurate. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of most antibiotics by knowing the rationality of the use of antibiotics based on precise, proper dose, precise and precise medication of patients and to know the rationality of the use of antibiotics by Gyssens method. The research method used was descriptive method and data taken retrospectively. The population of this study was all data of inpatients with diagnosis of urinary tract infection at inpatient of Klaten Islamic Hospital. The samples of this study were all urinary tract infection patient medical record data during January-March 2017 adjusted to the inclusion criteria. The most antibiotic used result was Viccillin SX 21%, the rationality was 98,33%, the exact dose 85%, the exact medicine 68,33% and the patient 100% and the result of rationality with Gyssens method got the result of category 0 10% , Category IIa 9%, category IIb 5%, category IIc 2%, Category IIIa 6%, Category IIIb 19%, Category IVa 35%, Vb and IVd 10%, Category V 1 %, Category VI 2%.
