Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in various countries is one of the primary diseases occurring mainly in children and has a great chance of Drug Related Problems (DRPs), as children constitute the largest segment of vulnerable individuals in the population at risk. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a type of acute febrile illness caused by one of four serotypes of the virus with the genus Flavivirus known as Dengue virus. This study was conducted to find out Drug Related Problems (DRPs) that occur in medical record patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever therapy patients including no indication for drug and low doses. The method us is the cross-sectional method and retrospective approach. The population of this study is all dengue hemorrhagic fever patients who hospitalized in general hospital of DR. Moewardi Surakata period 2016. The sample of this study is all dengue hemorrhagic fever children patients from January to December 2016 and fulfill the inclusion criteria. The results a total of 89 patients, there were 48 cases in 36 patients with potential DRPs. The most incidence rate of DRPs is too high dose 37,50% events, too low dose 52,08% events and no indication for drug 10,42% events. It can concluded that the number of occurrences Drug Related Problems that occur affect the achievement of the target of increased platelets normal levels, the achievement of normal levels hematocrit reduction targets and length of stay (LOS) of patient with improved clinical outcome. The effect of the presence of drug-related patients out of the hospital with platelet levels and hematocrit levels has not been normal.
