Abstract

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis B virus can cause inflammation and damage to the liver cells. Mode of transmission of hepatitis B infection can occur one of them during the tattoo process. The tattooedis a group that havehigh risk of hepatitis Binfection,so the researcherwant to examine HBsAgintattooed people. This research would be held on 30 December 2015 until 02 January 2016. On this research will be held by rapid test method. This samples used were plasma tattooed people in the district Maospati of Magetan totaling 15 samples. The results of the examination of 15 samples of tattooed people in District Maospati Magetan, aren’t non reactive (-) (not infected with HBsAg). This result may be caused by in the process of tattooing in Magetan area using a clean needle or not contaminated with hepatitis B virus. Keywords: Hepatitis B, rapid test, tattoos
