Abstract
Bullying behavior is an act of intimidation against the weak that is done continuously to hurt someone. In Indonesia, there is a lot of bullying behavior. Based on data from KPAI 2011 there are 61 cases, 2012 the are 130 cases, 2013 there are 91 cases and 2014 there are 87 cases. This research has a purpose to find out how the relationship between emotional regulation with bullying behavior in teenagers. This research use quantitave method and with purposive sampling method for sampling. The subjects are students of class XII from SMA Kristen I with a total of 82 students. The tools used are the modified emotional regulation scale from Feriyal (2014) and the scale of modified bullying behavior from Wahyuningsih (2016). The method i use for data analysis is Product Moment correlation of Person with SPSS 23.0 for windows release. The results of this analysis indicate there is a correlation coefficient of = - 0,671 with p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). It proves that there is a significant negative relationship. This means that when the emotional regulation is higher so the bullying behavior is lower and if the emotional regulation is lower so the behavior of bullying in teenagers will be high. So that the hypothesis presented in this research is accepted. value of 0.450 means that emotional regulation gives effective contribution of 45% to bullying behaviour.
