Abstract
Determinant to improve human resource is job satisfaction. A study on job satisfaction is still relevant to improving the organization performance. This study was intended to create the employee’s job satisfaction by considering two factors: leadership style and work attitude. For that reason, the objective of research was to examine the effect of leadership style on job satisfaction mediated by work attitude. This research was conducted using survey method by distributing questionnaire using purposive sampling technique to 175 respondents in dr. Raden Soedjati Soemadiarjo of Grobogan Regency. The perception of respondents was measured using Likert scale 1 to 5. The data collected was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Amos 21 application. The result of research showed that there was a positive significant effect of leadership style on job satisfaction, there was a positive significant effect of work attitude on job satisfaction, there was a positive significant effect of leadership style on job attitude, and there was a positive significant effect of leadership style on job satisfaction mediated by work attitude.
