Abstract

The role of organizational culture and affective commitment is still an important study since it play role in forming the loyalty of employees in an organization. Regardless to this matter, the purpose of this study was to examine the role of organizational culture and affective commitment in forming RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta employee’s loyalty. This study used a survey method, with quantitative techniques. Sampling techniques was done by using purposive sampling method. The sample of this study was 227 temporary employees at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Data were analyzed by using SPSS. Based on the test result of partial coefficients linear regression shows that organizational culture does not contribute positively to the loyalty of employees, whereas affective commitment has play role in forming the employee loyalty of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Meanwhile, F test of multiple coefficient regression indicate that the role of organizational culture and commitment affective has positive and significant impact toward the employee loyalty of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta which shows that research model is appropriate to use. Furthermore, the percentage of employee loyalty level at RSUD Dr. Moewardi which given through organizational cultural and affective commitment is 19.20%.
