Abstract
Work shift is a system that is applied to increase the maximum productivity. Job stress is the interaction and stressors that threaten the environment or that appear on the physiological and psychological reactions. One of the causes of stress at work is the work shift. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the level of job stress on laboratory workers at Dr. Moewardi Hospital. This research is quantitative descriptive. Subjects research of 25 laboratory workers are taken using sampling techniques saturated. The research instrument used job stress scale. Methods of data analysis using Kruskal Wallis to examine the differences between the three groups of data derived from the variables: work stress. Results from this research showed that there was no significant difference in job stress levels on laboratory workers Dr. Moewardi Hospital in terms of shift work is evident from the test results that Kruskal Wallis test the hypothesis that get results p = 0.100 (p> 0.05).
