Abstract
Service improvement of Dr. Moewardi Hospital not only in medical skills but also ability of management to manage human resources effectively. The successful of management requires productive communication, which aims to produce staff harmony so can improve staff performance of Dr. Moewardi Hospital. This study was aimed to determine effect of organizational communication to performance of medical laboratoty staff of Dr. Moewardi Hospital. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, with samples taken as 46 staff. Data collection used in this study was using questionnaire. Data analysis method used in this study was quantitative analysis and measured using linear regression analysis with SPSS version 17 for Windows. The result showed that variable of organizational communication significantly affect performance of medical laboratory staff of Dr. Moewardi Hospital with significant value 0.047 (<0.05). Result of determination analysis shows that 6.60% performance of medical laboratory staff of Dr. Moewardi hospital was determined by organizational communication, while 93.40% determined by other factors.
